🔒 BIKE LOCK & THEFT PREVENTION REQUIREMENT

### Locking Procedures & Theft Prevention

Locks are supplied with every rental. To maintain active theft protection coverage, all riders must follow these verification steps whenever parking an e-bike unattended:

#### Mandatory Photo-Lock Steps:

1. Lock frame/rear wheel directly to a fixed, immovable steel structure or bike rack.
2. Snap a clear phone photo showing the lock secured around the bike frame with the **E-Bike Asset Tag # clearly visible**.
3. In case of theft, immediately contact shop phone (**778-761-3987**) and submit a [Vancouver Police Report](https://vpd.ca/report-a-crime/) within 24 hours.

*Note: Negligence or failure to supply locking photo verification voids protection policies and incurs full replacement liability ($2,400 + tax).*

⏳ LATE RETURNS & OVERTIME POLICY

#### Overtime Fee Notice

Unapproved late returns are charged at **$15 per 15-minute window**. Because equipment is pre-booked for incoming riders, staying on schedule is required!

**Want to extend your ride?** Call us at **778-761-3987** before your time expires! If equipment isn’t reserved by another party, we will convert you to a higher hourly package rate rather than charging late fees.

💳 MULTI-DAY RENTAL REQUIREMENTS

### Important Info for Multi-Day Rentals

- **Multi-day rentals must stay in the Vancouver area and picked up from our Vancouver location 750 Pacific Blvd:** As per new insurance requirements. All multiple day rentals must stay within the Vancouver area. No transporting to outside districts.
- **Matching Credit Card & ID Required:** Name must match on both. A scan or emailed copy of both is required before rental.
- **Overnight Storage Locations:** You must provide all overnight storage addresses (e.g., hotel, RV park, friend’s house) before pickup.

**Note:** We reserve the right to cancel or refuse rentals where secure overnight storage cannot be confirmed.

💰 DAMAGE DEPOSIT & PROTECTION PLANS (Multiple Day Rentals)

**Important:** If protection plan conditions aren’t met, renter is liable for full replacement value: **$2,000 + tax per bike**. Charged to renters credit card as per contract

🔒 BIKE LOCK & THEFT POLICY

### Lock It or Lose It! 🔐

- Each rental includes a premium lock.
- Always lock to a fixed object with the lock passing through the **frame or rear wheel**.
- Take a **timestamped photo of the locked bike** every time you park it.
- **Bike #** must be visible in the photo.

#### 🛡️ To Qualify for Any Protection Plan:

1. Take locking photos every time you leave the bike.
2. Report any theft to us immediately: **778-761-3987**
3. File a police report within 24 hours:

4. Provide the report number, and return the lock and key if available.

**Warning:** No photo = no coverage. You are fully liable for the replacement cost if the locking protocol isn’t followed.

🚨 MULTI-DAY EMERGENCY HELP

### Need Help on the Road?

- Multi-day rentals are often out of city or after hours. Emergency help is more limited.
- If you’re in trouble, call **778-761-3987** and we’ll try our best to assist.
- For life-threatening issues, lock the bike and call **911**.

**Tip:** Always let us know your route and where you’re staying so we can help you faster if needed.

⏳ LATE RETURNS – MULTI-DAY RENTALS

- **$79/day late fee** if you let us know in advance and we approve the extension (subject to availability).
- **$149/day late fee** if bike is returned late **without notice**.

**Reminder:** These bikes are often booked for others after you. Please communicate if you need more time so we can make it work!

### Tipping is not required — but always appreciated! 😊

If you had a great experience, tipping is a thoughtful way to show your gratitude for your guide’s effort and energy. Many guests choose to include a tip as part of their tour budget if they’re happy with the service.

⏰ WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE TOUR? WHAT IF I’M LATE?

### Please arrive at least 15 minutes early

We need time to check you in, go over safety info, sign waivers, and fit you for your E-Bike and helmet.

### If you’re running late:

- Call us and we’ll **try to fit you in mid-tour** (if possible).
- If that doesn’t work, we’ll switch you to a **full-day self-guided rental** so you can still enjoy the ride!

### Where can E-Bikes be used for filming?

E-Bikes can operate in nearly all locations where regular bikes are permitted.

⚠️ **Check your local regulations before filming.** And remember—no E-Biking through the mayor’s rose garden! 🌹🚴‍♂️
